Rest In Peace My Buddy

After a year and 9 months, our lil' boy had to go. That's right. Our precious hamster that became a part of the family died this afternoon. I guess it's because he's really old. Most hamster only live up to 3 months. But he lived more than a year. He seemed so well the past few days. There were many kids coming to the house and playing with him. He was running around and playing too.

Well this morning he started breathing so hard and could not get up at all. It was painful to watch him lay there so helpless and we could not do anything.

Here is our lil' boy, Cotton. Thanks Tricia for giving him that name.


And this picture was taken this morning. He was still alive but very sick. Poor boy.
We miss you.

Yummy Sunday 2

Last Tuesday we went out for dinner with a few of our friends from Nepal. It was Uncle Thiru's treat. Here was the main dish - Pork...something. But it was so good. The meat was so soft. It melts like butter in your mouth. There was not too much fat which made it taste really nice.

The Bongo

I was doing some research for my school presentation when I saw this webpage on bongos. At first I thought it was the music instrument but it's actually an animal. Check this out.

A bongo is in fact an animal. Its a miss fit, it looks like a deer striped like a zebra, the body shape of an antelope. Both male and female of this species have horns, which is unusual in its self...

The Bongo is also known as the Western Bongo or The Lowland Bongo, The Eastern Bongo or The Mountain Bongo. They fall under the Antelope family, and can be found in forest areas of Africa, they are one of the biggest forest antelope in Africa.




Looking at these georgeous cratures just keeps reminding me of how awesome our God is.

Another week

Last Monday was a holiday. And guess what - We get another week off. Yup, next week there will be no school. I usually make a list on thing I wanna do, places I wanna go and movies I wanna watch.

But sadly this time I had to make a long long list on HOMEWORK I HAVE TO COMPLETE. Believe me the list is really long. And the work just seems to be increasing.

I'm hoping we'll get to go out for a movie sometime next week. Today we'll be going to Tesco. But we won't be doing much. Just getting some stuff for the house and for school projects. Colour papers a must have for school. HAHA. Files, pens, highlighter...etc.

It will still be nice to go out and hang around. So that's about it I guess. I know my blogging has reduced so much now days. I'll try to blog as much as I can.
I'll also be updating all of you on my holiday week. So do keep reading.

Changed...

Yeah. I have changed my blog title. But I'm still using the same URL. The Blog title I have right now does relate to my name. Tabitha aka Dorcas brings the same meaning which is a gazelle. And Prathna is a Sanskrit word meaning prayer. So "Tabitha Prathna" means Prayer of a Gazelle.

So let's see what's new this month.
Oh yeah, I have just started my Bible Knowledge class with Pastor Jerry. The first class was last Friday. It was great. We had so much fun. This year we will be learning the book of Acts and next year it will be Luke.
Besides that, I've decided to add one more subject to my SPM - Art. After much thought and prayer, I finally said that I should take art. Many people say that's it's really easy. So for now I will be having 12 subjects. I'll decide next year if I want to drop any of it. But I'll try not to since it's better to have at least 10 subjects for SPM-If I want to get a scholarship that is. Which means I need at least 10 A's.



That's it for today. Monday will be a holiday. Gotta prepare for my debate on Tuesday and the following week will be a holiday too. ONE WEEK break. Can't wait..
