VBS 2008!!

TMC Klang just had our VBS (Vacation Bible School) this holidays. It was held from the 26th of May till the 28th. Wow!! We had so much fun..I don't know where to start.

Well let me start from DAY 1

We woke up at 7.00 am. We were so excited at the same time really sleepy. After having a nice refreshing shower, we had our breakfast and left for the VBS. Abby followed cause she was helping out with the teaching. Amma was a teacher for one of the classes, so she came too. Appa was just back from Myanmar so he had to go to his office to complete some work.But he came for a short with-and when I say a short while, I mean he came for only 4.7 minutes. LOL

So we were one of the first ones to arrive. We helped Aunty Helen prepare her class activities and the we got our names registered. As soon as everyone arrived, we prayed and had our brakfast again...but I didn't. Since i had mine at home. Then after I messed around with a few people..greeting Aunties and Uncles and saying "HI" to youths and messed around with the kiddos' ,we went up to our mini hall where the programs were gonna be held.

We started out with Praise & Worship. Then Aunty Helen leaded us in some 'MORNING EXERCISE' aka 'AEROBICS'.

It was so cool and really fun. At the end, everyone shouted "We want MORE!! We want MORE!!"...

Then Punitha Akka tought us to play some new games. After introducing ourselves, we went into our classes. Uncle Anand was my class teacher. We had some activities in class. Our day 1 lesson was on ABRAHAM : HE FOLLOWED GOD.

Once that was done, we went down for lunch. FINALLY!! Uncle Nyaniah got us 'Ckicken Rice'. And can you believe, a 3 days camp and only RM 5 was needed to pay. My friends and me was like "WOW!! 3 days makan and only RM 5. It's so much cheaper than eating outside. I don't mind staying here forever..LOL". We were just kidding. We had to pay only RM 5 because the rest was paid by the church..I think.

After our delicious lunch, we went back up stairs where we had our 'Bible Craft" session. We had to make a HOT AIR BALLOON, since that was also part of the theme. Then we had more Praise and Worship...

And then..I didn't get to enjoy the rest because I had to go for tuition. I was like "Do I have to go??". So I actually had tuition on Tuesday, but I convinced the teacher to change my class so that I could attend the VBS.

Now DAY 2

We woke up as early as day 1 and got ready. And we were the 1st ones to arrive. Sheerah was there alone cause her dad dropped her off before sending her mum to work. So when we came, we got the tables and chairs ready for lunch. Such early preparation. HAHA..

Then when everyone arrived, we had lunch. This time it was mee hoon. BUt I still did not eat cause it was too heavy for me. But i had a little which I shared with Abby. Then we went up for our Praise & Worship. Aunty Sharon who was one of the back up singer was not around. So Aunty Candy asked someone to take her place...coughs..coughs..

Anyway, then we had our aerobics again..and again since everyone enjoyed it. Today's lesson was JOSEPH : HE TRUSTED GOD. So before going into our class, we watched the movie Joseph-King of Dreams. Then we went in to our classes for some activities. And then it was my favourite part..LUNCH TIME!!

For lunch, we had nasi lemak and fried chicken. Uncle Anand was sitting with me and my friends at lunch and he stole my friend chicken. HAHAH!! It was so funny cause i didn't even notice it. Then I was thinking "WOW!! Am I that hungry that I ate my chicken so fast and didn't even notice it??". Then I saw that there was 2 chicken pieces on Uncle Anand's plate. LOL!! So i finally got back my chicken.

Then we went upstairs. And there was more Praise and Worship. Later we had our Bible Craft session. We made these cute lil' T-Shirts. And on it was written our names and the theme of the VBS. It was so cute. We even made cute lil' hangers to go with it. Then we had our games. After that it was more Praise and Worship and back home. I was so tired that when I came home, I took a bath and went to sleep at 5.30 pm. When I woke up it was 6.30 the next morning. I had a 13 hour sleep. I couldn't believe it. I was like " Wasn't I hungry for dinner?? I usually wake up at normal nights being so restless..but now I slept for 14 hours staright. WOW!!".

So lets move on to DAY 3

NOw day 3 as usual being early and enjoying breakfast. This time I had my b'fst since they were serving bread and egg. Then we had our aerobics, Praise and Worship and class. The day's lesson was on ZACCHEUS : HE REPENTED. Then we had our lunch. The meal was so yummy!! We had Spicy Chicken Sambal, Boiled Egg, Briyani Rice, And Salad. WOW!! So much. Maybe bacause it was the last day. Then we had our Bible Walla played by JJ who asked us some memory verse. Then the youths played put a drama for us on Zaccheus. And the only part which I didn't really enjoy in the VBS was the 5 minutes nap. I can't believe they made us do that. We were like kindergarden kids. They did that bacause the small kids were too noisy and hard to control. So they didn't wanna make us seem different from each other so they made us all take a nap. I was just laughing the whole time.

Next, we had a special preacher, Pastor Shon. He gave a really good message. I'll post about that some other time. Then we had more dancing, singing, games and aerobics. Then we went down and took a beautiful group picture. THE END. What a wonderful ending?? THen i went home and had a good sleep. But this time I made sure it wasn't for more than 8 hours.

3..2..1..It's Over!!!

Oh Yeah!! After so much hardwork and sleeping late and worries...Mid-Year Examination is over. It's such a relief. Now I can start my blogging again. Oh and the best part is that we are having our 2 weeks semester break starting tomorrow. Yahoo!! I think i have mentioned all my plans in my previous post..Well now i can hardly wait for all that fun and excitement.

Abby's birthday is on 1st June-i'll be blogging about everything that happened. So a Birthday means...Abby's getting older??..lol. True, but it also means good food, family, friends and a whole night to enjoy. Out for movies, drinks such as VItamin C (In other words..Coke..lol)

There is so much excitement everywhere. Abby just got her 1st saree..I think that she is still too young to wear one, but she likes it...so it's gonna be her day. I'll leave that to her..hahha. She got an apple green saree...Hmm..APPLE GREEN

That colour brings a lot of memories. Memories of the year 2002..

Anyway I guess that's it for today. I will be blogging about all my activities during the holidays.

Busy..Busy

...I am so busy now days that I don't even have time to blog. It has been about a month since I have been blogging. So now I have found a lil' bit time to spend on my blogging.
This week we are having our exams...so no time for blogging...But its MUM and DAD's Wedding Anniversary....How can I not blog??

So we just went out in the morning to get some stuff for my dad's Myanmar trip-tomorrow..
Yeah, we have been hearing bout the terrible cyclon so he is gonna visit so people there. Later we will be going out for a movie. I'll blog bout how it went next week. My exams will be over by then and it will be our School Break..2 WEEKS!!! We have so mnay things planned out. We are gonna have a movie night-just us sisters. A day out with Aunty Tiala. Debo is gonna enjoy some swimming. Abby gonna enjoy her chatting...Appa and Amma will be enjoying...umm...something i guess..lol
And I will be enjoying my blogging, painting and window shopping-Usually it never ends up that way..LOL
